🍽️ Simple Sautéed Mushroom Recipe
Enjoy your fresh mushrooms with this easy recipe:
Ingredients:
8–12 oz oyster or lion’s mane mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
Instructions:
1. Clean mushrooms by gently brushing off debris. If needed, rinse briefly and pat dry.
2. Tear or slice into uniform pieces. For oysters cut off thick stems (these can be used later to make broth).
3. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Add mushrooms in a single layer; cook for 3–5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 3–5 minutes.
5. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
6. Serve immediately as a side dish, or mix into a stir-fry.
